About Dr. Rayz Khoury

As a dedicated general dentist at My Dental Home, I am committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate dental care. Growing up in Nashville, TN, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology with a minor in Biochemistry. I then pursued my Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree at the University of Louisville.

To further enhance my skills, I completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at Ascension Hospital and the University of Detroit Mercy. My training equips me to offer a wide range of dental treatments, including implant placement, surgical extractions, root canals, and clear aligners, all delivered with the utmost professionalism and care.

When I’m not in the office, I enjoy spending time with friends, reading, playing video games, and exploring the outdoors on my bike. Additionally, I have a passion for baking, which allows me to express my creativity in the kitchen.

Dr. Khoury's Dental Education & Training

Dr. Khoury's passion for dentistry began at the University of Detroit Mercy, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. From there, he went on to complete more advanced education in General Dentistry, receiving specialized training in procedures such as root canals, dental implants, and prosthodontics. This advanced training has allowed Dr. Khoury to provide his patients with a wide range of dental services, from routine checkups and cleanings to complex restorative procedures.

In addition to his extensive education and training, Dr. Khoury is also a co-director of the Michigan chapter of the International Team of Implantology. This organization brings together dental professionals from around the world to share knowledge and promote excellence in implant dentistry. Dr. Khoury's involvement with this organization speaks to his commitment to staying at the forefront of the latest dental techniques and technologies.

OUTSIDE THE DENTAL OFFICE

When he's not busy providing exceptional dental care to his patients, Dr. Khoury enjoys spending time outdoors and staying active. He's an avid biker and kayaker, and you might even spot him out on the Flint River during the summer months. In the winter, he enjoys spending time indoors with video games and puzzles, as well as experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.

Dr. Khoury also takes an active role in the Swartz Creek community, participating in events like Hometown Days 2022. His commitment to his community is just one of the many ways he goes above and beyond to ensure his patients receive the best possible care.
